What is the Best Method to Fix Asymmetrical Cheeks?
Hi.. I am a 25 years old and I lost about 20 kilos. I did gain some about 10 kilos later on but I have noticed that I have a symmetry problem with my face. One cheek seems to be different than the other. I think the fat is no longer built in one of my cheeks and it looks saggy. Would fillers or fat crafting would be good solutions for that one saggy side to restore the symmetry of my face. And which is better?
Dr. Taban – Eyelid Surgeon:
There are various options to fill the midface/cheek area and make the cheek more symmetric and full.
These include temporary fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, Perlane, Radiesse), nonpermanent fillers (Sculptra), fat transfer, and implants. They each have advantages and disadvantages and need to considered on an individual basis, during consultation.
